In addition to our content collab with Wakefield Press, we’ve also entered into a collab with UniSA, too.
Back in 2019, Jeanmay H got in touch with Dr Ben Stubbs at University of SA. Ben is the author of ‘The Croweaters’, a book of stories about South Australia (it’s a great read BTW), and he’s a Senior Lecturer at the School of Creative Industries, where he teaches creative story-writing.
We proposed a collaboration to Ben whereby his students would create authentic stories about Adelaide, and we would publish them on our Adelaide Living storytelling platform.
Students of the Advanced News Writing module, as part of their assignment schedule, have been writing about ‘the people in their city’. The stories are beautifully written and they add significantly to the diversity of voices on Adelaide Living, as well as providing budding writers with a platform to showcase their work. A true win-win.
