The City of Adelaide is continuing to provide essential services to the community during COVID-19, including public cleansing, waste management, horticultural care, business support and customer service. Rundle Mall and the Adelaide Central Market remain open, with the latter offering a fantastic drive-through pickup service. Our car parking business UPark is offering $8 capped parking for city workers. The Adelaide City Libraries are providing virtual library services, eBooks, audio books and free online training. The council continues to meet each week via Zoom (a recent meeting went 10 hours!). Our online resources consist of five key pages on the City of Adelaide website – a central landing page with the latest updates, media releases and videos from our Lord Mayor; a supporting FAQs page; a ‘Business Assistance’ portal page to support the business community; a community-oriented ‘Stay Connected’ portal page; and a Stackla-powered news feed page that aggregates the latest COVID-19 news items from trusted local sources.
